Key Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of achieving goals and outcomes in a fast-paced environment
  • Handle complex underwriting with sound judgment and a risk mindset
  • Build effective relationships with brokers and deliver exceptional customer service
  • Mentor and develop colleagues through effective role modeling
  • Contribute to new business development through attending broker events and building new relationships
Requirements:
  • Proven underwriting experience in Excess Casualty with a successful record of selling Environmental, Excess or Primary Casualty, NA Auto, WC, AL, GL, DBA, Foreign Casualty products
  • Deep technical underwriting expertise
  • Strong communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Customer and sales-orientated behaviors: motivated, tenacious, focused, technically skilled, proactive, and accountable
