Key Responsibilities:
The Procurement Operations Specialist will engage in both strategic planning and tactical execution, which includes:
  • Implementing effective procurement strategies in close collaboration with plant stakeholders and global procurement teams.
  • Ensuring the best total cost position for external expenditures while mitigating sourcing risks and enhancing supplier performance.
  • Facilitating seamless collaboration between plant procurement and global category management to achieve outstanding procurement outcomes.
  • Making informed purchasing decisions based on market analysis, product specifications, and supplier strategies.
  • Negotiating and maintaining master service agreements with suppliers regarding costs, terms, and conditions.
  • Working alongside the Arconic Shared Services team to streamline tactical and transactional processes.
  • Delivering exceptional customer service by proactively addressing procurement-related issues with stakeholders.
  • Ensuring compliance with all procurement requirements.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • In-depth knowledge of production processes, quality control, and cost management.

  • Familiarity with economic and accounting principles, as well as financial data analysis.
