Role Responsibilities

The Leasing Agent plays a crucial role in facilitating the rental process of apartment units, ensuring optimal occupancy levels are maintained at all times. This includes coordinating move-ins and move-outs, negotiating leases and renewals, as well as conducting apartment showings.

  • Ensures that all documentation for current and prospective tenants is completed accurately.
  • Typically reports to the Property Manager.
  • Operates independently within established procedures relevant to the specific job function.
  • Demonstrates proficiency in various competencies pertinent to the Leasing Agent role.
  • Represents Village Green at various networking and social events.
  • Exhibits strong problem-solving abilities.
Qualifications

This position is set in a dynamic professional environment where each day presents new challenges. If you thrive in a sales-oriented atmosphere and are dedicated to exceeding customer expectations, this could be the right fit for you.

  • One to two years of leasing experience in multi-family housing.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite; familiarity with property management software (Yardi / One Site / MRI / Sight Plan) is highly desirable.
  • Ability to deliver exceptional customer service to meet the needs of current and prospective residents in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Exhibits a high level of professionalism in both demeanor and appearance.
  • Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
