Key Responsibilities:

The primary duties of the AI Engineer encompass, but are not limited to:

  • Architecting, developing, and deploying generative AI frameworks and algorithms utilizing large language models for diverse applications such as text generation, audio transcription, and customer interaction analysis.
  • Creating and implementing retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) models in conjunction with vector databases, focusing on effective embedding, chunking, and indexing strategies to construct specialized chatbots.
  • Writing Python scripts and integrating them with machine learning management platforms including LangChain, Snowflake Cortex, OpenAI, and Azure AI Studio.
  • Formulating comprehensive design strategies for AI and machine learning solutions, selecting suitable algorithms, data sources, and technologies that align with organizational objectives.
  • Identifying challenges faced by the company and its clients, and determining how AI integration can facilitate effective solutions.
  • Preparing and refining text datasets through processes such as cleaning, tokenization, and augmentation to optimize them for model training.
  • Conducting experiments and refining models to enhance their performance metrics.
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to pinpoint and prioritize critical business areas where AI innovations can yield substantial benefits.
  • Ensuring the delivery of robust, scalable, and efficient AI solutions.
  • Deploying AI applications in production settings while maintaining their stability and reliability.
  • Regularly monitoring AI solution performance and implementing necessary enhancements.
  • Staying informed about advancements in AI technology and identifying opportunities for upgrading existing systems.
  • Providing mentorship and support to junior AI team members.
  • Engaging in code reviews to uphold high coding standards.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of professional experience in AI engineering or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in developing AI or machine learning solutions on platforms such as AWS, Azure, OpenAI, Databricks, or Snowflake.
  • Proficiency in generative AI, including advanced prompting techniques and experience in model fine-tuning.
  • Hands-on experience with deep learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch.
  • Familiarity with evaluation frameworks for generative AI, particularly in text generation contexts.
  • Experience in bringing generative AI projects from conception to production.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate on applying AI to business challenges across various domains.
  • Preferred experience in call center operations and insurance platforms.
  • Knowledge of data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation techniques.

Skills:

  • In-depth understanding of AI concepts and algorithms, including deep learning and natural language processing.
  • Strong foundation in software engineering principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying complex technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Education:
