Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct initial assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and review of symptoms.
  2. Perform gynecological examinations, including pelvic exams, Pap smears, and breast examinations.
  3. Diagnose and treat common women's health/gynecological conditions, such as menstrual disorders, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and menopause-related issues.
  4. Offer counseling and education on reproductive health, contraception, family planning, and sexual health.
  5. Manage prenatal and postnatal care, including conducting prenatal visits, performing prenatal screenings and diagnostic tests, interpreting results, and collaborating with obstetricians or other specialists as needed.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in Nursing or a related field.
  • Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner in the state of Texas.
  • At least 5 years of experience in women's health nursing, with a focus on primary care and gynecology.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest evidence-based practices in women's health.
