About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Project Engineer to join our team at IMEG Corp. As a Civil Project Engineer, you will be responsible for assisting Project Managers with detailed engineering analysis in the preparation of engineering reports, permit applications, and construction plan preparation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Draft procedures and system requirements for clients
  • Utilize various design software
  • Coordinate with municipal, transportation, traffic, and other disciplines
  • Prepare complete permit applications for various municipalities
  • Design flexible and rigid pavements
  • Develop geometric pavement and site circulation designs
  • Prepare specifications and cost estimates
  • Evaluate traffic warrants and guardrail warrants
  • Direct and train Civil Designers to assist with reports, exhibits, plans, and specifications
  • Additional functions include those listed in Civil Designers' responsibilities
Requirements
  • Mastery of design techniques, tools, and principles involved in producing precision technical plans and drawings
  • Knowledge of materials, methods, and tools involved in construction
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and AutoCAD Civil 3D software
  • Ability to communicate clearly in both oral and written form
  • Understanding of materials and methods
  • Ability to interpret state and local design criteria and apply it to specific project needs
  • Ability to consistently produce high-quality construction documents
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil Engineering
  • Professional Engineer license is preferred
  • A minimum of 6 years of qualifying experience
