Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Process Engineer to join our team at EssilorLuxottica. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, analyzing, and implementing process specifications, control plans, and process yield capabilities throughout our manufacturing network.

Main Responsibilities

Design and implement manufacturing process improvement initiatives, including process experimentation, design, optimization, control, specification, and sustainment to achieve continuous improvement in yields and cost initiatives.

Lead lean manufacturing initiatives to improve safety, reduce cycle times, improve productivity, improve process reliability, and improve customer satisfaction with respect to on-time delivery and quality.

Perform process capability analysis and implement process control procedures.

Create process documentation and training tools.

Monitor and control production processes to ensure compliance to specified requirements.

Provide technical support for the qualification and validation of new product introductions to ensure all aspects of performance, manufacturability, and quality are achieved.

Develop and manage timelines, assess technical feasibility of project options, and execute implementation plans.

Provide technical support for the qualification and validation of new equipment and processes; and identify and implement new technologies to continuously improve processes.

Lead or support root cause analysis investigations and recommend corrective actions and preventative actions.

Provide technical input to support process changes.

Support training of operations personnel.

Requirements

BS Engineering degree or equivalent experience.

3+ years of engineering experience.

Interpersonal skills and knowledge of manufacturing engineering.

Problem-solving skills and ability to travel an average of 15% to 25% for project requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

BS Engineering degree or equivalent experience.

5+ years of engineering experience.

Statistical Analysis skills and experience with Lean Manufacturing, six sigma, and project management.
