About the Role:

As a CBRE Building Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of building systems, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC. This role is part of the Engineering and Technical Services team, which provides support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform maintenance and repairs to mechanical, plumbing, structural, and control systems in a Data Center/Critical Environment
  • Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, and company directives related to building operations and work safety
  • Maintain an energy management program to ensure efficient operation of systems
  • Assist with the implementation of a preventive maintenance program to extend the life of building machinery and systems
  • Review inspection reports to ensure building systems are operating within design capabilities and achieving environmental conditions prescribed by clients
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience
  • Universal CFC certification is preferred
  • S-2 or D-2 License is required
  • Ability to exercise judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information
  • Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions
  • Organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset
  • Sophisticated math skills
