Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Structural Engineer to join our Construction Engineering Services team at SourceOwls, LLC.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Contribute to the construction process by providing innovative design engineering solutions.
  • Perform and review structural calculations and design drawings according to industry codes, standards, client-specific criteria, and structural engineering principles.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of design deliverables.
  • Identify design risks and assist with risk mitigation planning.
  • Assist Project Managers and Estimators with budgets, schedules, quality control, and client communication.
  • Provide on-site design engineering support, conduct on-site inspections, and mentor and train Engineers in Training (E.I.T.s).
Requirements:
  • Experience with temporary structures and/or construction engineering.
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; a Master's degree or higher in Structural Engineering is preferred.
  • At least 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) licensure or eligibility for licensure in the United States.
  • Proficiency with engineering design software, such as AutoCAD, BlueBeam, Civil 3D, and Finite Element Analysis software, is an advantage.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
  • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple project assignments.
  • Capability to access all areas of a construction site in varying climates and environments.
