Optum is seeking a highly skilled Primary Care Physician to join our team in a dynamic and collaborative environment. As a member of our Optum Care Delivery team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our vision of making healthcare better for everyone.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide primary care services to patients, including office consults, annual visits, follow-up appointments, and in-office procedures.
- Work collaboratively with a medical assistant to support patient care and administrative tasks.
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical research and best practices to ensure the highest level of patient care.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination.
Requirements
- Board eligible/board certified in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine.
- Unrestricted California Physician License.
- Current BLS, ACLS certification.
- Current California DEA certificate prior to start date.
- EMR proficient.
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills and time management.
