About the Role

At Advanced Drainage Systems, we're committed to innovation and sustainability. As a Maintenance Technician 3 Plant, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex machinery and equipment, including extruders, corrugators, and downstream systems.
  • Maintain and improve job skills through company training programs and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Contact and order replacement parts and control components from suppliers as needed.
  • Contribute to the effective operation of our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) by completing PM and repair work orders in a timely manner.
  • Respond to machine problems and collaborate with Electrical Engineering as needed.
  • Support Daily Management directives and initiatives to drive production efficiency and safety.
  • Develop and implement Continuous Improvement projects to enhance production processes and safety.
  • Work with production staff to ensure the safe and reliable operation of plant equipment.
Requirements
  • High School or equivalent diploma required; Technician-level certification in electrical, hydraulics, or pneumatics preferred.
  • Basic PLC and drive training preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in industrial maintenance, electrical systems, and controls.
  • Knowledge of plastic processes and experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items, work in extreme temperatures, and perform physical labor for extended periods.
