Job Description:
At Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, we are seeking an experienced Research Administration Lead to oversee the management of complex research portfolios and provide expert guidance on grant preparation, portfolio management, and compliance.

About the Role:
The ideal candidate will have 6 years of related experience and a bachelor's degree. They will be responsible for collaborating with faculty and researchers on sponsored research applications and financial management of funds, as well as leading special projects and initiatives to improve systems and processes.

Key Responsibilities:
* Grant Preparation: Review sponsor eligibility, draft non-scientific materials, meet internal and external deadlines, and coordinate institutional review and submission of proposals.
* Portfolio Management: Manage financial aspects of sponsored and institutional funds, prepare reports for sponsors, and track milestones and receivables.
* Compliance: Partner with faculty and researchers to ensure adherence to internal and external policies, including NIH Grants Policy Statement and DFCI policies.

Requirements:
* Computer literacy and expertise with Excel/Google Sheets preferred
* Extensive experience with electronic document storage and email file organization
* Ability to prioritize multiple priorities simultaneously and manage multiple complex awards and types
* Strong relationship-building skills and ability to cultivate relationships with faculty, research staff, and central departments
