Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of a Temporary Cashier. This position involves providing exceptional service to customers while managing cash transactions efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in monitoring and maintaining appropriate inventory levels; receive, price, and display merchandise effectively.
  • Deliver excellent customer service both in-person and over the phone.
  • Participate in regular inventory assessments.
  • Ensure accurate recording of price adjustments and promotional changes.
  • Monitor stock levels, report out-of-stock items, and address defective merchandise promptly.
  • Communicate with customers regarding special orders and stock updates.
  • Keep informed about current market trends and relay relevant information to management.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales area at all times.
  • Operate the cash register in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications:
0-6 months of experience in a retail or cashier role.

Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
