Job Overview
Position Title: Healthcare Access Coordinator

Requirements:
+ High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
+ Six months to one year experience in customer service
+ Familiarity with basic office operations and computer systems
+ Understanding of medical terminology and prior healthcare experience is advantageous
+ Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is preferred

Work Schedule:
1. We are looking for a part-time Healthcare Access Coordinator to work on weekends in the emergency department, including a holiday rotation.
2. We also seek a casual Healthcare Access Coordinator to provide coverage as needed, with varying shifts that may include weekends and holidays.

Job Summary:
The primary role of the Healthcare Access Coordinator is to facilitate the efficient and organized registration of emergency, inpatient, and outpatient services. This position ensures that accurate patient information is gathered and that patients are informed about healthcare policies and procedures. All duties will be performed in a professional, customer-oriented manner.
