Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Customer Service Director to join our team at Gold's Gym International, Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring that our members have an outstanding experience at our clubs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the front desk operations, including member check-in, telephone inquiries, and guest registration.
- Direct and control all gym walk-throughs to ensure a clean and safe environment for our members.
- Communicate with the General Manager regarding ways to improve front desk operations and implement changes as needed.
- Responsible for communicating and following cash management procedures to ensure accurate and timely transactions.
- Manage the retail sales procedures for the gym, including inventory management and sales tracking.
- Assist the General Manager with member and operational issues, including resolving conflicts and addressing member concerns.
- Responsible for hiring, training, and supervising operations team members, including front desk, kids club, and housekeeping associates.
- Assist with bi-weekly payroll to ensure all missed punches are corrected and submitted on time.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
- Understanding of basic cash procedures and ability to handle challenging customer issues with patience, tact, and professionalism.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software and systems.
- Current CPR certification.
- Excellent training skills and ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Leadership and management skills, with experience in a fast-paced environment.
