Key Responsibilities- Transaction Processing: Receive, prepare, and store all paper transactions, and assist branches with balancing and scanner issues.
- Key Entry and Data Management: Enter dollar amounts, reject repair, and balance items associated with image files, including savings bond processing.
- Error Detection and Resolution: Detect and solve errors found in internal and external customers' transactions, and prepare correction advices where necessary.
- Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Operate and maintain related equipment, such as the Image Sorter.
- Automated Clearing House Files: Receive and originate Automated Clearing House Files on the Dataserv, and process assigned files, including ATE, FIS ATM, and Check 21 check exchange files.
- Data Entry and Reporting: Complete data entry, including utility payments and transactions not passed through the Image POD system using the ATE system and secured transactions. Prepare utility customer-related reports and processing.
- Image File Creation and Maintenance: Create and upload Image Files, while maintaining production records, including Application Totals and End of Night Totals.
- Lock-Box Transactions: Process all Lock-Box transactions, including preparation and reporting, punch, and verify payments.
- CIS File Maintenance: Assist the bank in maintaining CIS Files, including CIP, Address Changes, and Mergers.
- Commercial Capture Exchange Files: Import and balance Commercial Capture Exchange files twice a day, and prepare weekly and monthly reports for management.
- Document Imaging and Verification: Perform document imaging, scanning, indexing, and verification of all assigned documents.
- Document Reports: Pull and check assigned document reports to verify that they exist on the image system.
- Research and Compliance: Perform research necessary to satisfy Writs, Subpoena's, Summons, Court Orders, and all other requests for information.
- Record Retention and Shipment: Perform assigned procedures relating to record retention and shipments to/from offsite storage.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will also need to be proficient in using various software applications and equipment.
