As a Nuclear Medicine Tech PRN, you'll play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to our hospital's mission to provide exceptional healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine Nuclear Medicine procedures and produce high-quality images while ensuring radiation safety.
  • Verify physician orders, screen patients for appropriateness of study, educate patients, and select appropriate protocols.
  • Provide patient care for a diverse population, including pediatric through geriatric patients.
  • Assure equipment functionality, prepare radiopharmaceuticals, and coordinate technical work and patient flow.
  • Provide computer-enhanced post-processing of procedures and establish a good rapport with fellow employees, other departments, and Medical Staff.
Requirements:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) or ARRT (N) certification.
  • Associate Degree or Vocational School Graduate in Nuclear Medicine Technology.
  • Florida State License Nuclear Medicine.
