Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist PRN to join our team at HCA Florida Ocala Hospital. As a key member of our imaging department, you will be responsible for performing routine Nuclear Medicine procedures and producing high-quality images while ensuring radiation safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Verify physician orders and screen patients for appropriateness of study
  • Provide patient education and select appropriate protocols
  • Demonstrate ability to problem-solve image quality and provide computer-enhanced post-processing of procedures
  • Coordinate technical work and patient flow
  • Establish and maintain a good rapport with fellow employees, other departments, and medical staff
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
  • Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMTCB) certification
  • Associate Degree or Vocational School Graduate
  • State of Florida Registered Radiologic Technologist or State License Nuclear Medicine
