Position Overview:

ROLE SUMMARY

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and maintain employee attendance protocols.
  • Facilitate the onboarding process by reviewing applications and preparing documentation for HR review.
  • Distribute necessary paperwork to new hires and coordinate orientation for temporary-to-permanent staff.
  • Input new employee data into the HRIS, including I-9 forms and E-verify processes.
  • Address daily inquiries from hourly staff regarding changes in personal information, benefits enrollment, and attendance documentation.
  • Compile weekly attendance reports for corporate review.
  • Coordinate vacation schedules in accordance with union agreements.
  • Prepare quarterly reports related to gainshare calculations as per corporate guidelines.
  • Lead the employee events committee, organizing fundraising activities and celebrating employee milestones.
  • Manage employee performance evaluation documentation.
  • Organize and maintain files for terminated employees.
  • Assist in planning quarterly company-sponsored events.
  • Provide backup support for payroll functions.
  • Perform clerical duties including mail distribution, call routing, and spreadsheet development for tracking purposes.
  • Support open enrollment and benefits change processes.
  • Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or GED is mandatory.
  • Experience: Prior experience in an administrative role or relevant associate degree is preferred.
  • Skills:
    • Proficient in data entry and familiar with office equipment.
    • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
    • Competent in Microsoft Office applications.
    • Ability to operate office machinery and possess strong interpersonal skills.
    • Capable of multitasking and proficient in English.
    • Availability to work second shift.
  • Travel: No travel required.
