About the Role

This position involves providing routine and emergency nursing care to students on buses and at terminals. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering medications, responding to medical emergencies, and maintaining accurate records of student health information.

Responsibilities

  • Administer prescribed medications to students as needed
  • Provide routine and emergency nursing care to students, including first aid and CPR
  • Maintain accurate records of student health information, including medical histories and treatment plans
  • Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents regarding student health needs and concerns
  • Collaborate with school administrators to develop and implement policies and procedures related to student health and safety

Requirements

  • Current LPN licensure in the state of Washington
  • 2 years of experience working as a nurse in a pediatric or ICU setting
  • Ability to work independently and make sound judgments in high-pressure situations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • CPR certification and ability to lift up to 25lbs

Salary Range: $65,000 - $85,000 per year based on experience
