Job Summary:
This is a unique opportunity to join the Sauk Rapids Fire Department as a Cashier and Administrative Assistant. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing administrative support and cash handling services in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the team, including data entry, filing, and other tasks as required.
- Handle cash transactions, including processing payments and making change.
- Assist with daily operations, including preparing for events and meetings.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the cash handling area.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Working Conditions:
This is a part-time position, working approximately 3 hours per day, Monday through Friday. The successful candidate will be required to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed.
Salary and Benefits:
The salary for this position is based on the Administrative Assistant and Cashier Employees Agreement Level C, Step 1 at $17.17 per hour.
