Job Summary

Koinonia Homes is seeking a highly skilled Intervention Specialist to join our team. As an Intervention Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting students with diverse needs, promoting academic success, and fostering a positive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor and report on student progress toward educational goals in grades pre-k through 12th grade.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of ABA principles and procedures, and apply them effectively in the classroom.
  • Collaborate with classroom support staff to implement educational instruction activities and intensive teaching sessions.
  • Lead skill development meetings with the clinical team to ensure seamless implementation of educational plans.
  • Attend regular meetings with the clinical team to discuss student progress and develop strategies for improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's preferred.
  • Certification as a Licensed Intervention Specialist in the state of Ohio.
  • Teaching experience, either through field placement/student teaching or employment, is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with students with Autism and/or Behavior Disorders is preferred.
