Job Responsibilities

As an Armed Security Officer, you will serve and safeguard clients in various industries, including Commercial Real Estate, Healthcare, Education, Government, and more. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing exceptional customer service by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when necessary.
  • Responding to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner.
  • Conducting regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, working in various environments and conditions.
Requirements

To be eligible for this role, you must:

  • Be at least 21 years old for armed positions.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
  • Undergo a background investigation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal considers qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • Pass a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Participate in industry-specific security/safety training programs.
  • Meet licensing requirements, subject to state and/or local laws and regulations, prior to employment.
