Job Summary

The Substance Use Disorder Professional/Trainee (SUDP/T) role is part of the Behavioral Health and Counseling team at Evergreen Treatment Services. This dynamic position plays a crucial role in helping ETS accomplish our mission.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide assessment, individual and group counseling, case management, and coordinate overall patient care while enrolled at Evergreen Treatment Services.
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients, patients, and staff from diverse backgrounds.
  • Work well under stressful situations and conditions, and be creative in developing and implementing effective approaches to chemical dependency treatment.
  • Consistently implement established agency policies and treatment procedures regarding work with assigned patients.
Requirements
  • Active Substance Use Disorder Professional (SUDP) Certification in the state of Washington (WA); or Active Substance Use Disorder Professional Trainee Certification in the state of Washington (WA).
  • Academic training in the social service field and in the area of substance use disorder treatment.
  • Work experience in the social service field and in the area of substance use disorder treatment.
