Seeking a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow in Newcastle, WA

Job Description:

A Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow is required to join our team in Newcastle, WA area. The successful candidate will provide individualized and group therapy sessions to address various speech and language disorders in elementary-aged students. As part of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing IEPs (Individualized Education Programs), collaborating with teachers and parents, and monitoring student progress throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Promote effective communication and collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student learning.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary.
  • Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert input on students speech and language needs.
  • Stay current with best practices in speech-language pathology and integrate new techniques as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
  • Eligibility for Clinical Fellowship, with the ability to obtain state licensure in Washington.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
