Position Overview:

Tact Staff is currently seeking a traveling Interventional Radiology Specialist to fill a vital role in patient care.


Job Responsibilities:
  • Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic imaging procedures to support patient care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient services.
  • Adhere to safety standards and regulatory requirements in all imaging practices.
  • Participate in Quality Control and Performance Improvement initiatives.

Technical Skills:
  • Operate specialized imaging equipment effectively.
  • Assist in the setup of equipment and rooms tailored to patient needs.
  • Prepare and drape patients appropriately for procedures.
  • Support physicians during interventional procedures as a scrub technician.
  • Maintain proficiency in various interventional radiography techniques.
  • Ensure minimal radiation exposure to patients while upholding departmental standards.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

  • A minimum of one year of experience in interventional radiology or cath lab settings.
  • ARRT certification in Radiography.
  • A valid Radiologic Technologist license.
  • A Fluoroscopy Permit.
  • BLS certification (AHA).
  • A high school diploma or equivalent; an Associate's Degree is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of sterile techniques and equipment used in interventional procedures.

Work Schedule:

This position typically involves a 4x10 day schedule, Monday through Friday, with weekend call rotation requirements.
