Job Responsibilities

Epic Travel Staffing is looking for a Travel - Interventional Radiology Specialist

Shift: Days / 7a-5p, 10x4, 40hrs per week, Monday to Friday

Length: 13 weeks

Call Requirements: Weekend (Saturday and Sunday) call rotation, 24/7

Qualifications:

  • California License
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in interventional and/or cath lab within a hospital or clinic environment
  • AHA BCLS Certification
  • ARRT - Radiography Certification
  • Fluoroscopy Permit
  • High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent; Associate's Degree preferred

Additional Requirements:

  • 1 year of experience in interventional and/or cath lab in a hospital or clinic setting
  • ARRT - Radiography Certification
  • California Radiologic Technologist license (may take 4-5 weeks to obtain if not already held)
  • Fluoroscopy Permit
  • BLS (AHA) Certification
  • High School Diploma, GED, or Equivalent; Associate's Degree preferred
  • Proficient in sterile technique and knowledgeable about various supplies and equipment used in interventional and/or cath lab procedures

Schedule Information:

  • 4x10 Days, Monday to Friday
  • Call Requirements: Weekend (Saturday and Sunday) call rotation, 24/7

Job Summary:

Responsible for performing diagnostic and/or therapeutic imaging procedures for patient care, actively participating as a member of the multidisciplinary team. Supports the delivery of patient care and services while adhering to safety standards and regulatory requirements. Engages in Quality Control and Performance Improvement initiatives.

Operates specialized technical equipment related to patient imaging and collaborates with qualified physicians and support personnel in the use of radiologic equipment. Assists with equipment and room setup tailored to patient age and size, prepares and drapes patients, and assists physicians as a scrub technician during interventional procedures.

Demonstrates the necessary knowledge and skills to provide age-specific care to patients, maintaining technical skills required for a variety of interventional radiography procedures while ensuring minimal patient radiation exposure.
