Job DescriptionThe RN Nursing Manager Neph Metabolic is responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care on our renal care unit. This includes overseeing the daily function and staffing of the unit, monitoring and evaluating the provision of nursing care, and holding staff accountable for quality and clinical outcomes.
This position requires a strong leader who can create a culture of accountability and transparency in the provision of care. You will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement strategies that enhance patient safety and quality outcomes.
You will also be responsible for:
- Managing operating expenses, including supplies and equipment
- Identifying cost reduction opportunities and implementing actions to achieve savings
- Maintaining staffing levels in accordance with patient care needs and established productivity guidelines
- Providing leadership in attaining and sustaining an unparalleled patient experience
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification by date of hire
- 1+ years of leadership experience preferred
- A current registered professional nurse license in the state(s) of practice or an active compact license
