We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Preschool Lead Teacher to join our bilingual toddler program at Shamrock Montessori LLC.

Job Summary

The Preschool Lead Teacher will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment that promotes independence, concentration, and a love for learning. This role requires a certified Montessori teacher with experience in working with young children, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate a prepared Montessori environment that nurtures independence, concentration, and a love for learning.
  • Guide preschool-aged children through the Montessori curriculum in a bilingual or English-immersion setting.
  • Observe each child's unique developmental needs, creating tailored plans for their growth and academic progress.
  • Foster a positive and respectful classroom culture where children feel safe and valued.
  • Engage children with a variety of hands-on Montessori materials and encourage exploration and self-directed learning.
  • Collaborate with parents to share progress and align on educational goals.
  • Manage classroom routines, ensuring children's safety during activities, meals, and recess time.
  • Maintain and organize the classroom, ensuring it is clean, safe, and reflective of Montessori principles.
Requirements:
  • Certified Montessori teacher for ages 3-6, with certification from a recognized Montessori organization (AMS, AMI, or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in a Montessori preschool classroom is strongly preferred.
  • A genuine passion for working with young children and guiding their development with patience and understanding.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt to the needs of individual students.

Estimated Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, based on location and experience.
