About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team at St. Jude Medical Center. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing various technical and quality control duties, ensuring the effective utilization of staff, and contributing to the maintenance of high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform a range of technical and quality control duties, including the operation of imaging equipment and the preparation of radiopharmaceuticals.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure the effective utilization of staff and the delivery of high-quality patient care.
  • Assist in the completion of daily, weekly, and monthly quality control records, including Kronos, OSHA, In-services, and attendance calendars.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to maintain certification and stay up-to-date with industry developments.

Requirements
  • Associate's Degree in a relevant field.
  • Training at an approved accredited Nuclear Medicine Program.
  • Current certification as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist (NMT) or equivalent.
  • Ability to maintain required continuing education hours necessary to renew license/certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
