Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled High-Power EV Charging Systems Technician to join our team at EVs. This role requires an experienced professional with a strong technical background in electrical engineering, who can perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on high-power EV charging systems.

About the Role:

  • This is a full-time position requiring extensive travel to various locations
  • The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience in the eMobility/EV charging industry
  • They will be responsible for executing diagnostic, maintenance, and repair work on charging systems, performing commissioning and periodic maintenance interventions, and working independently and collaboratively to maximize repair efficiency
  • Strong customer service orientation and communication abilities are essential for this role

Requirements:

  • Technical Background: Technical certification or experience in electrical engineering, experience as electrician in low-voltage range (up to 1,000V)
  • E-Mobility Experience: Minimum 2 years support role in eMobility/EV charging industry
  • Skill Set: Basic software and diagnostic skills, full stack IT infrastructure knowledge (hardware, software, network, telecommunications), proficiency in MS Office (Windows, Excel, Word)
  • Pysical Demands: Ability to lift 75lbs (components and units), capable of repeated ladder climbing, able to stand/walk for extended periods
  • Travel Requirements: Valid driver's license, valid passport, flexibility for overtime work, willingness for domestic and international travel, available for flexible hours
