Production Machine Technician

As a Production Machine Technician, your primary responsibility will be to manage an extrusion apparatus that applies a plastic layer to uncoated copper wires and various other cables utilized in data and communication systems. This position necessitates the proper setup of the machinery for different product specifications, utilizing basic hand tools for necessary adjustments, and overseeing the input of raw materials.
You will conduct regular quality assessments using measuring instruments such as tape measures, micrometers, calipers, and gauges to confirm compliance with manufacturing standards. The ability to multitask and adhere to established operating procedures is essential, along with following a master production schedule and a material handling process sheet. A keen attention to detail and precise documentation of outcomes on a computer system are critical.
Required Skills- Experience in machine operation

This is a permanent role.
Work EnvironmentThe position is fully on-site within a clean, climate-controlled manufacturing facility. While temperatures may vary, safety remains a top priority, and wearing safety-toed footwear is mandatory at all times. The dress code will be discussed prior to the interview. You will be working 12-hour shifts, with a schedule designed to provide ample off days, promoting a healthy work-life balance. Breaks will be managed by relief personnel to ensure coverage.
