Forensic Psychologist II Opportunity in Wichita Falls, TX

We are seeking a highly skilled Forensic Psychologist II to join our team at the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) in Wichita Falls, TX. As a Forensic Psychologist II, you will be responsible for conducting advanced and/or managerial psychological work, including forensic evaluations and assessments. If you have a strong background in psychology and experience working with forensic populations, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct forensic evaluations and assessments of patients' competency to stand trial
- Develop, support, and coordinate forensic psychological activities and programs
- Provide consultation and training to staff on forensic education services
- Supervise the work of others and graduate psychology trainees as requested
- Work under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment
- Doctoral degree in psychology from an accredited institution
- Experience in psychological work, including at least one year of supervised experience by a licensed psychologist in the field of psychological services
- Demonstrated experience conducting forensic evaluations and standard psychological assessments with forensic populations in an inpatient psychiatric setting
- Demonstrated experience conducting individual and group psychotherapy with forensic populations in an inpatient psychiatric setting
