Job Summary

My Health Onsite is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist/Medical Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Radiology Technician Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our onsite health and wellness centers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcome patients and escort them to exam rooms, ensuring a comfortable and welcoming environment.
  • Prepare patients for radiology procedures, adhering to established clinical and regulatory protocols for patient safety and care.
  • Log radiological procedures, process routine documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR), and maintain accurate records.
  • Obtain and record vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, pulse oximetry, height, weight, and waist circumference.
  • Provide information and assistance to patients, addressing their concerns and needs in a professional and empathetic manner.
  • Perform blood draws, administer injections/vaccinations, and input medical information into the EMR.
  • Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations, maintaining a clean and well-stocked environment.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure the secure handling of sensitive information.
  • Assist physicians and medical staff with procedures and treatments, providing support and expertise as needed.
  • Complete and document daily equipment checks and calibration, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety.

Requirements:

  • Associates Degree or graduation from a Radiology Technician Program.
  • Two years of recent clinical experience, preferably in a primary or urgent care setting.
  • BLS for Healthcare Providers certification.
  • ARRT Certification.
  • BMO or CRT license.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Certified Medical Assistant or willingness to be cross-trained for light Medical Assistant duties.
  • Certified Phlebotomy Technician.
