About the Role

Wabtec Corporation is seeking a skilled Assembly Technician to join our team in the assembly of MESABI Heat Exchangers. As a key member of our assembly team, you will be responsible for the assembly of various components, including fans, motors, belts, and other equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble heat exchangers and other equipment according to specifications
  • Use power tools and equipment to perform tasks such as drilling, cutting, and welding
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and quality
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals
  • Participate in training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1 year of work experience in a related field preferred
  • Strong mechanical ability and experience using power tools
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for 8-10 hours
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
