Position Overview:

The AV Technology Support Coordinator plays a crucial role in facilitating seamless audio-visual collaboration within the organization. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in virtual meeting platforms, particularly MS Teams, and a passion for providing exceptional support during meetings and events.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate proficiency in virtual collaboration tools such as MS Teams, Webex, and Zoom.
  • Provide assistance for both in-person and virtual meetings, ensuring smooth conference production.
  • Offer direct support to end users regarding the operation and functionality of collaboration technologies.
  • Assist in the setup and configuration of meetings and conferences.
  • Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of AV and videoconferencing rooms, adhering to established standards.
  • Deliver hands-on training and support to users on AV system operations.
  • Perform routine preventive maintenance checks and services on AV and VTC systems.
  • Execute advanced maintenance tasks, including troubleshooting, system fault isolation, and equipment servicing.
  • Provide technical support for events, both onsite and remotely, as required.
  • Maintain a flexible work schedule to accommodate varying demands.
  • Complete administrative duties, including service ticket management and maintaining an active status board for system readiness.
  • Engage in troubleshooting and maintenance support for AV and VTC systems.
  • Set up and monitor video calls as necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and procedural guidelines established by the organization.
  • Document all maintenance activities thoroughly from start to finish.
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Strong communication skills to effectively interact with employees, clients, and team members.
  • Ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.
  • Basic computer literacy.
  • Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms, particularly MS Teams and Zoom.
  • Understanding of basic signal flow for audio, video, and control systems.
Education and Experience:
  • A minimum of 3-4 years of experience in audiovisual support is preferred.
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
