Fire Alarm Inspector Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Alarm Inspector to join our team at GPAC. As a Fire Alarm Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting, evaluating, and maintaining fire alarm systems in accordance with applicable NFPA codes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and evaluate fire alarm systems to ensure compliance with NFPA codes and regulations
  • Maintain and repair fire alarm systems, including troubleshooting and replacing components as needed
  • Communicate with internal and external customers to provide technical support and resolve issues
  • Use computer-aided design (CAD) software to read electronic blueprints and create reports
  • Plan and coordinate inspections to ensure timely completion

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required
  • NICET certification required
  • 3+ years' experience inspecting and/or installing fire alarm systems required
  • Ability to use computer-aided design (CAD) software and read electronic blueprints required
  • Building Reports experience preferred
  • Service Trade experience preferred
  • Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Must have mechanical aptitude
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record required
