Key Responsibilities:

  • Administrative Duties (10%): Engage in departmental committees that influence policies affecting the role of Advanced Practice Clinicians and healthcare delivery.
  • Participate in quality risk management initiatives, implementing assurance activities under the guidance of leadership.
  • Contribute to community education efforts, responding to local health needs.
  • Collaborate with the Medical Director to maintain compliance with legal requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to organizational standards and regulatory guidelines.
  • Foster a customer satisfaction approach in healthcare delivery.
  • Assist in achieving goals for improved customer relations and satisfaction.
  • Comply with established protocols and regulatory standards.
  • Work collaboratively with volunteers and temporary staff.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Clinical Responsibilities (80%):

  • Conduct comprehensive health assessments and physical examinations, focusing on reproductive health.
  • Provide medications and contraceptive options as necessary.
  • Monitor and support the medical services offered, serving as a resource for staff and patients.
  • Order and interpret laboratory tests as needed.
  • Educate patients on reproductive health services, including fertility control and sexually transmitted infections.
  • Manage gynecological conditions in accordance with established protocols.
  • Ensure follow-up on patient testing and treatment.
  • Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with electronic health record policies.
  • Provide postpartum care within an interdisciplinary team framework.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members and refer patients to appropriate resources.

Training Responsibilities (10%):

  • Assist in the training and orientation of newly hired Advanced Practice Clinicians and clinical support staff.
  • Participate in agency-sponsored meetings and training sessions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Nurse Midwifery program with New York State Licensure.
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
  • New graduates are encouraged to apply.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in nursing or a related health field.
  • At least one year of clinical experience is preferred.

Compensation: $62.35 per hour
