Overview:
The Heavy Equipment Service Technician plays a crucial role in the upkeep and repair of heavy machinery. This position involves a variety of tasks aimed at ensuring the optimal performance of equipment used in construction and related industries.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Conduct thorough cleaning, maintenance, and repair of heavy machinery.
2. Perform regular safety inspections and check-ins on equipment to ensure compliance with safety standards.
3. Execute mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic maintenance tasks while collaborating with fellow technicians for general shop upkeep.
4. Identify and troubleshoot technical issues, providing effective solutions to enhance equipment functionality.
5. Work closely with the service manager to facilitate timely and efficient repair processes.

Qualifications:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Previous experience in heavy equipment maintenance is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively as well as independently.
- Must possess a set of adequate hand tools.
