Pro-Vac is a leading provider of subsurface solutions for the maintenance and construction of critical infrastructure. We're seeking a skilled Equipment Mechanic to join our team. As an Equipment Mechanic at Pro-Vac, you will be responsible for maintaining our expansive fleet of heavy-duty equipment. Your primary duties will include analyzing and diagnosing equipment malfunctions, performing preventative maintenance and repairs, and executing essential repairs on gas and diesel engines, transmissions, electrical and electronic systems, brakes, hydraulic systems, suspensions, steering, and fuel systems. You will also be responsible for completing Federal DOT inspections on commercial vehicles. If you have experience working with heavy-duty equipment and are a creative and independent problem-solver, we encourage you to apply. To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least three years of experience with heavy equipment, have worked in a shop for more than 5 years as a diesel mechanic, and have 5+ years of experience with Dealer Level Training in Paccar, Cummins, and/or Detroit. You will also need to be proficient in using computer systems and applications to accomplish daily tasks.
