POSITION OVERVIEW:

The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure a clean, well-maintained, and welcoming environment while overseeing quality laundry services. This includes managing the overall operations of the department in compliance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facilities. Adherence to all health, sanitation, and infection control policies is essential, as is maintaining the established standards of practice set forth by the administration and the Housekeeping and Laundry Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Proficient in English with the ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
  • Demonstrated capability to execute verbal and written directives.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and attention to detail are essential.
  • Able to collaborate effectively with supervisors, colleagues, and community staff.
  • Knowledge of proper safety and sanitation practices.
  • Willingness to work scheduled hours as per the requirements of the position.
  • Must not pose a direct threat to the health and safety of others in the workplace.
Experience:
  • Previous experience in long-term care is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Experience in housekeeping and/or laundry, particularly in healthcare or hospitality, is advantageous.
Work Schedule and Compensation:
  • Full-Time Positions Available
  • Day Shift: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm with rotating weekends
  • Compensation: Up to $17.00 per hour based on experience
