Bicycle Delivery Driver Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Bicycle Delivery Driver to join our team at Jimmy John's. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering sandwiches to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take telephone orders and complete delivery tickets in a courteous and timely manner
  • Deliver sandwich orders to customers in a safe, courteous, and timely manner in established delivery areas only
  • Accept payment from customers for orders
  • Work with management at the end of the shift to reconcile cash from delivery sales
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the restaurant, including all tables, floors, windows, beverage station, and restrooms
  • Perform other related duties as required
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, current automobile insurance, and a clean driving record
  • Be able to speak, read, and write the English language fluently and clearly
  • Ability to use basic math, addition, and subtraction, and understand basic fractions
Work Environment:

The physical demands of this job include standing, walking, sitting, using hands, reaching with hands and arms, talking, hearing, close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception. Occasionally, you may be required to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and lift up to 50 pounds.

The noise level in the work environment is moderate, and you will be occasionally exposed to mechanical parts.
