Bicycle Delivery Driver Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Bicycle Delivery Driver to join our team at Jimmy John's. As a key member of our delivery team, you will be responsible for delivering sandwiches to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take telephone orders and complete delivery tickets in a courteous and timely manner
  • Deliver sandwich orders to customers in a safe and courteous manner within the established delivery area
  • Accept payment from customers for orders and reconcile cash at the end of the shift
  • Prepare and make sandwiches to order, adhering to portion sizes and recipes
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including the restaurant and delivery area
  • Provide excellent customer service, greeting customers and handling orders with a positive attitude
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age and have a valid driver's license
  • Reliable transportation and current automobile insurance are required
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
Working Environment:

The Bicycle Delivery Driver will work in a fast-paced environment, interacting with customers and colleagues in a friendly and professional manner. The physical demands of the job include standing, walking, and lifting, with occasional exposure to mechanical parts.
