Job Description

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) plays a crucial role in our multidisciplinary team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care. Key responsibilities include:

  • Performing comprehensive speech/language therapy assessments, developing tailored treatment plans based on evaluation findings, and documenting progress.
  • Mentoring and training clinical support staff, new professionals, and students/volunteers in aspects of patient care, ensuring continuity and excellence in service delivery.
  • Participating in performance improvement initiatives, driving innovation and excellence within the department.
Qualifications

To be successful as a Speech-Language Pathologist at Lovelace Regional Hospital, you will require:

  • A Master's Degree in Communicative Disorders or related field.
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (M.S.,CCC-SLP) and licensure as a Speech Pathologist in the State of New Mexico.
  • CPR certification and ability to communicate effectively, working efficiently under pressure.
  • A strong foundation in following established procedures and instructions.

Prior experience is highly valued, with one year of related experience preferred.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range for this position, estimated at $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience, plus a comprehensive benefits package that supports your overall well-being.
