SalaryThe estimated annual salary for this position is between $50,000 and $75,000, depending on experience and education.
Job DescriptionAs a Neurodevelopmental Therapist - Education and Care Specialist at Jacob's Ladder, you will play a vital role in administering superior care, educational, therapeutic, and rehabilitative services to clients. Your background in education, counseling, social work, or a related profession will enable you to develop sound, trusting relationships with clients and their caregivers.
You will work collaboratively with our team to implement tailored assessments and program methodologies that cater to the unique needs of each client. This may involve working with clients of various ages and abilities, from graded pre-k through 12th grade, as well as infants and adults.
Your duties will include:
- Administering therapeutic interventions, such as neurotherapy and Integrated Listening Systems therapy (iLS)
- Developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of each client
- Providing emotional support and guidance to clients and their caregivers
- Maintaining accurate records and communicating effectively with team members and stakeholders
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, with experience working with children, teens, or adults who have developmental challenges
- A degree in education, healthcare, psychology, or a related field, with up to a year of experience working with clients who have developmental challenges
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to develop sound, trusting relationships with clients and their caregivers
- A willingness to learn and adapt to new situations and techniques
