Position Title: Associate/Assistant Professor of Rhinology and Anterior Skull Base Surgery

The Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Missouri School of Medicine is seeking a fellowship-trained specialist in Rhinology and anterior skull base surgery. This role involves collaboration with a dedicated team of 16 Otolaryngology faculty members, 7 Advanced Practice Practitioners, and 4 Audiologists, all within a thriving academic environment that emphasizes teaching, research, and clinical excellence in otolaryngology.

  • Expertise in both surgical and non-surgical treatment of sinonasal disorders, including allergy management, is required.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary care alongside professionals from neurosurgery, ophthalmology, and allergy/immunology.
  • Deliver medical and surgical solutions for rhinologic issues, including functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS).
  • Perform procedures such as septoplasty, turbinate reduction, and nasal reconstruction.
  • Conduct surgical interventions for anterior skull base conditions.
