We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our NICU team at Ascension St. John Medical Center. As a Registered Nurse in the NICU, you will provide direct patient care to critically ill newborns and their families, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest level of care.
Key Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill newborns, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the unique needs and circumstances of each patient and family.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care, including ordering and administering medications, performing procedures, and providing education to patients and families.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure the highest level of patient care.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of Oklahoma required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification preferred.
