Registered Nurse

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Nursing Unit at Ascension St. John Medical Center in Tulsa, OK. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide direct patient care and work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Surgical Nursing Unit, including assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to coordinate patient care and ensure seamless transitions between departments.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, medication administration, and other relevant data to ensure accurate and timely documentation.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure clear understanding of patient needs and care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- BLS Provider certification required within 1 month of hire date.
- Registered Nurse licensure from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing required.
- Diploma from an accredited school of nursing or equivalent required.
