Job Summary

Civista Bank is seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team at WhatJobs. As a key member of our Financial Operations department, you will be responsible for various accounting duties and projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compile data to assess the effectiveness and efficiency of our internal processes.
  • Perform routine business analysis using various databases and reporting tools.
  • Produce ad hoc data and reports to support business decisions.
  • Provide support to the Accounting team and communicate regularly with internal departments.
Requirements
  • Two to three years of related experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Intermediate to advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites, including Excel, formulas, pivot tables, and lookups.
  • Previous experience with Jack Henry Silverlake and PowerBI is preferred.
  • A high level of initiative, thoroughness, accuracy, and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and a high level of confidentiality.
  • Solid oral and written communication skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines.
  • Ability to lift and move files of up to 15 lbs.
  • Ability to communicate professionally in person and on the phone, write, speak, read, and hear.
  • Ability to manipulate numbers, type, and sit for long periods of time.
