Position Highlights:
  • Potential eligibility for a sign-on bonus of $10,000, distributed over 24 months.

Student Loan Repayment:

This role may qualify for Avera's Student Loan Repayment Program, which assists in paying off your educational loans. Each month, an additional payment of $167 (up to $10,000) from Avera will help reduce your principal balance more quickly.

Career Advancement Opportunities:

As an Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for executing a variety of imaging procedures and may take on instructional responsibilities as needed. You will also assist with calls and specialized areas after receiving appropriate training and/or experience, ensuring patient care and safety.

Your role supports the hospital's commitment to excellence in patient care within a compassionate environment, fostering positive employee relations and supporting departmental objectives.

Deliver outstanding care and service to patients, residents, guests, and colleagues consistently.

Perform all duties in alignment with regulatory standards and the hospital's values of hospitality, compassion, and stewardship.


Licensure/Certification/Registration:
  • Certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists is required.
  • BLS Certification is required.

Work Schedule:

Various shifts, including every fourth weekend and one to two holidays per year; 72 hours over a two-week period.

Compensation:

The hourly wage for this position is competitive and based on experience, starting at $37.75 per hour.
